The run

• Four answers, one question at a time. You have 30 seconds for each.
• Tap an answer to pick it, then press Lock it in. Nothing counts until you do, so tap another one if you change your mind - but the clock keeps running.
• One wrong answer ends the run, and so does the clock reaching zero. How far you got is your score.
• The questions get harder the deeper you go. The clock never does.
• Every 10th question is a pick-more-than-one round. Get the whole set right or the run ends.

The score

• Questions cleared is the ranking. Reaching question 12 always beats stopping at 11.
• Answering quickly earns points, up to 300 a question, and those points break ties between players who got equally far.
• Buying yourself more time never earns more points - the score is always counted from the original clock.

Power-ups

You start with one 50/50. Clear 10 questions and you get to pick a free one, then again every 10 after that. You can hold 3 of each, and using one costs nothing.

• 50/50 Removes two wrong answers. Not available on a pick-more-than-one round, where it would hand you the answer.
• Stop the Clock Buys you 10 more seconds to think, up to 2 times on one question. It does not add points - the score still counts from the original clock.
• Audience Says Shows what other players answered on this question.
• Skip It Trades this question for a different one with a fresh 30 seconds. On a pick-more-than-one round you get another one of those.
• Second Chance If your answer is wrong, the run survives and you pick again from what is left. Wrong answers only - it cannot save you from the clock.

Leaving mid-run

Between questions you can close the page and pick the run back up. With a question on screen you cannot - the clock is running on our side whether or not you are looking at it, so the run ends there and you can still post however far you got.

Leaderboard

Scores posted without an account are grouped by the name you typed, so there is no way to prove which are yours. Sign in before posting if you want to be able to remove them.
